Questions most paintless dent shops don't want you to ask:

Q: Does your shop offer a guarantee, and what do you guarantee?
A: At Painless Dent Removal we guarantee all our workmanship for as long as you own your car. If we break something on your car in the process of repairing a dent or hail damage, we will fix it or replace it: We don't hide problems. If we ever damage your car's paint, we will have it repaired for you at no cost to you. If you don't like the results of the repair, you don't pay.
Q: Are your dent repair technicians certified by an independent certification process?
A: Our tecnicians are certified or they are supervised by a certified technician. We don't subscribe to self-certifications like some of the large paintless dent repair companies do. We are certified by Vale National an independent certification company.
Q: Will you drill holes in my car?
A: These days drilling holes is taboo because of the abuse of some less-than-reputable dent companies. However, we will drill holes in non structural areas after notifying the customer and receiving permission. After the repair is complete the corrosion protection is restored to the drilled area to prevent future rust.
Q: Will paintless dent repair harm my car's finish (cracking)?
A: In our experience cracking occurs when an inexperienced tecnician attempts to push the metal too hard and when so called mobile dent companies attempt repairs at people's homes in cold temperatures. Other situations are when dented metal is streached or deep dents occur on sharply rounded portions of body panels. The first two situations are completely avoidable by hiring a competent dent repair tecnician, and the third situation can usually be forseen. In those situations we warn the customer of the risk which will require conventional repair at a body shop if the paint does crack. Sometimes high risk areas are repaired with paintless dent repair sucsessfully.
Q: Will you allow a beginner to work on my car?
A: Not a chance. The few tecnicians we hire work on our customer's cars after demonstrating a high level of competence. That's not to say that nothing will ever go wrong, and that every dent will turn out perfect. The difference between our company and others is that we won't try to hide broken parts or damage we caused. We'll fix it or have it fixed. And before repairing any dent, we usually can accurately predict the success of that repair and inform the customer to determine if the dent can be repaired to that customer's satisfaction.
Q: What happens if you damage my car's finish or any other parts?
A: We will fix it, have it fixed, or replace it. |
